usually the ultrasound. It can measure the baby and is more accurate on the size of the baby to tell how far you are.

Doctors will compare your lmp to your us due date, they should reflect a baby that is close (maybe just a few days or a week off) from the same date. Your dr will go by your lmp unless you are unsure of that date.

Both are just estimates. Remember, babies are rarely born on either of their due dates.
I just kept both dates in mind and figured it'd be somewhere around there. LOL
I also made sure my bags were packed for the hospital at least two weeks before the first due date, to avoid any mad dashes.

Both due dates should be very close, but no one can tell you when your Baby is due.My first came almost two months early, and I carried my second One month over, and Im due again in July and Im just going to wait until my baby comes.

Both of these dates are estimates only. Your doctor will take good care of you. When the baby comes will be just the right time for it anyway. Best of luck!
