I'm not sure who invented it but Isiah Thomas and Dwyane "Pearl" Washington were doing it before Hardaway. Hardaway's was differnet cuz he didn't stop and go like the other two guys.

you never really know.. it doesnt feel like it really was that prominent until AI came into the league.. there are probably way older ballers who used it before him though... cant really tell who the original crosserover was..
