You're kidding, right? Okay, I personally have nothing against anyone due to nationality, but most of the people I know have...well...to put it politely, NEGATIVE ATTITUDES...towards the French.

1. Hamrlick and Semin are both out with injuries and the Caps win. Coincidence or was it because we have a French Canadian wearing number 85 among us? Ha, I'm not sure. I don't think it's coincidence. 2. For Christmas my Gran gave me $50 and as any teen girly girl would do, I'm getting two Caps shirseys! I know I want a Chimera one but I'm indecisive on the other one. Should I get Laich, King, Knuble, Perreault or ?? (I'm getting a Hendy jersey, so not him) PS- Not a sleazy russian. NEVER. I'd say Knuble. He's one of faves on the team. 3. Do you think Semin for Karlsson would be a fair trade? or too lopsided for the Caps? (no that it would happen, but a girl can dream) I don't think it'd be a fair trade. 4. Thoughts on Perreault :) No opinion 5. What do you do after your team wins? Brag on Facebook and then go to bed. I'm boring, I know. Playoff wins are treated much more differently, though! ;-) BQ* What's your favorite book? I have 3 favorites: The Hound of the Baskervilles (Sherlock Holmes), Sense and Sensibility (which I love that you're an Austen fan!), and The Game by Ken Dryden. Even though I'm a Bruins fan, Dryden's a good writer and the book was an easy and fun read. Have a great night yourself! :-)

Frenchies are alright. But as far as war is concerned they no longer have a clue or an empire to fall back on. After getting your asses roasted twice by Germany, you have fallen into a laize faire attitude while being protected by the U.S. We don't mind that because we have been friends forever. But your government advising others in the art of diplomacy and war is like asking North Korea for advise on human rights. You sit back in your easy chairs nice and comfy with barely a care and certainly no responsibility in most world affairs which is also ok. It is just troubling to some of us when you chortle about the warmongers across the pond and say nary a word about barbarians that murder innocent men, women, and children daily. I find it difficult to fathom how you could support Iraq with money and trade while the "Leader" there slaughtered his own people on a daily basis. Got caught by the U.N. with your hand in the cookie jar and you still held fast. But I'm sure your growing muslim population will catch up to you soon. The rumblings started last summer. Its going to be a long hot summer. Good luck my friend.....Oh, and by the way. Great food and wine. You have my compliments. Enjoy them while you can.

Ha! I doubt that many people over here in the United States "worship" the French? For what? Get real.

We would be speaking commonwealth English right now if it weren't for France. France brought soldiers and weapons to the patriots of the 13 colonies and fought side by side with them to make the United States the free country it is today.

Your country and its people have been the source of so many good things...art, food, and a very eloquent language as well as an alluring lifestyle. And, even though its seems some of your countrymen find us declasse, we still admire the French!

For its food, wine, museums, cinema, and elegance! I do love their Paris... and have had wonderful exprience while visiting that city. And it's always nice to know that many Americans who settled in France have done wonderfully - for example France even changed Jame Baldwin and Johnny Depp for the better! ;-)
And, for the sake of our own American History, Benjamin Franklin persuaded France to help fight the American Revolutionists against the English, so without France's help, George Washington's army wouldn't have saved America from Britain to give us our America. When I celebrate George Washington's Day, I can't help but recall this piece of history. What do the Israeli Zionists know? So many of them ain't even descended from those who fought to bring Independence to America!
