I hope I'm wording that correctly.
I let my daughter do her homework on my computer with my supervision, but she uses the drop down search box often, and there might be some web searches she should'nt see...
is there a way to delete/hide those?

Ah, quite a good thing to erase if that is the case. If you are using internet explorer which I assume you are go to the menu and select
tools->internet options
In there delete the cookies, history, temporary internet files. This will do it and make your comptuer run faster since you don't have tons of old cache junking up your computer. Franly you should to that often.

1.In IE Tools/Internet Options /ContentAuto complete/Settings
Delete auto complete settings etc.
2 In Firefox Tools/Options/Privacy/Private Data /Settings.
3. Yahoo Toolbar down arrow near pencil clear recent searches.
4. Google search 1 will do.
5. Save all this trouble by using ccleaner from
www.ccleaner.com or
6. AdvancedWindowsCareV2 Personal
from www.iobit.com.
5 & 6 are good programs to keep your
computer in good working condition to a certain extent.
