IMP Help???
I need to get ready for a big test that is coming up. Can someone help me review it? Like give examples of IMP problems, and how to solve them? Such as, Linear equations, Complex equations, inequalities, The Feasible Region and all the other problems? THX

If I am correct IMP stands for Integrated Mathematics Program. I did a quick search in Yahoo for IMP problems and found numerous sites you could go to for examples of IMP problems. Because this curriculum model is foreign to me, a high school math student of the late 1950's, I would not know how you and/or your classmates work together to find solutions to such problems. Some of the examples I found you are most likely familiar with include How long does it take for a 30-foot pendulum to complete twelve periods? How can you predict the length of a shadow? What is the best design for a honeycomb? What is the probability that the baseball team currently in the lead will win the championship, given the current record of its closest rival? What's the best way to resolve the conflicts of a particular land-use situation within the constraints of competing political and social forces? When should a diver be released from a rotating Ferris wheel in order to land safely in a moving tub of water?

If these are not what you are looking for then I would suggest you try the yahoo search just as I did. Good luck.
