I am looking to get an aftermarket muffler for my vehicle. I am looking to keep it under $400. I want something mainly for sound an a little bit for performance. I want it to roar and be fairly loud, and have a great sound under acceleration. I don't want it to sound like something is wrong with my car. I want the sound to fit my car.

flowmaster makes mufflers that will give you performance and sound for a lot less than $400. If you want to do it right put on a set of headers and a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe and high flow cats.

The flow master exhaust system sounds great I would spend a few extra dollars to get a cat back system and not just the muffler it will get you about 20 extra horse power. This should still be under $400.00 if you install it your self.

If you want to keep it under $400, I'd go with either MagnaFlow, SLP, or Flowmaster (ugh...) catback systems. If you want a good sound, I'd go with headers first. The flow from them alone should make your car sound a little more... angry.
