It's a topic that encompasses the evolution in product advocacy and education. People are much more pro-active when it comes to their buying power and companies are very aware of this trend. Accommodating consumer demand has resulted in more environmentally friendly processes by which products are packaged. It has also been responsible for many more selections of products on the market, varying in price. Quality assurance has come to the front of most consumer advocacy groups especially when it comes to baby products.
It has opened a very accessible means of communication for both consumers and manufacturers to be able to solve problems and come to a middle ground. I personally believe manufacturers are not thrilled but that the consumer is now in the driver's seat when it comes to supply and demand. No matter how slick the packaging or how mass advertised a product is, word of mouth can make or kill something before the producer has a chance... It is a good thing. And only in America will you see this.
With the age of the Internet, instant feedback, complaints, marketting surveys, etc. can literally change a product overnight!!

As long as consumer is greedy he get's cheated.
The consumer can be aware by only getting what he wants by paying the correct price.
The 50% discounts 90% discounts are all not true.
And if some one argue that it is true, then imagine
they have been charging more earlier.
And this buy one get one is just making you to spend more and make you buy what you didn't want to buy.
In fact buy one get one is and price paid for two.
