It's not uncommon to feel that pain after a spinal block (I have had 2 as well as 2 epiderals). Both types can cause back pain. The only thing the doctors have told me is to visit a chiropractor when the pain gets too severe, and use asprin and a heating pad.

Yes, it really sucks and I feel your pain... literally.

Go see your doctor to get an x-ray check on your back. If your back has problems or you can't sit up straight, you could have scoliosis. Usually scoliosis happens if you are a child that slouches and slumps often. Then it becomes a problem when you are an adult.

Definition---
Scoliosis:a lateral curavature of the spine. It may gradually appear as kids approach their teen years.
Scoliosis may cause back and chest deformities, impair heart and lung functions or cause other health problems.

i dont know what to say for the insurance part...sorry!

ps. feel better soon!☺

If ur last epidural was recent, this condition may go away but in any case you should consult a doctor! Good luck!

any non injusry back problems can get some help by strengthening the lower back and stomache muscles.
Also try to use your lower back instead of your upperback/shoulders when doing physical lifting.
poor posture in the lower back weakens it and causes all kinds of weird pains.
