How do i create a back up restore disc in the event of system failure , i really dont want to have to restore to factory settings or reinstall vista ? Ive searched the system for a method it just has a restore point , no good during system failure . I hate these preinstalled features its all about saving money now with these pc manufactures , Thanks

If I understand you correctly you're talking about taking a 'snapshot' of your system that you can just reload directly without having to do a full reinstall or go back to factory settings with a Restore Disc? If that's the case then Norton Ghost is the kind of thing you're looking for, you can 'save' your current system state then restore back directly to it if your Windows install dies on you for any reason.
