Well on V-day I sent flowers,candy,balloons and a teddy and I told the woman I've been in love with since we were children how I feel and how much I love her(exspecting nothing just hoping).She said thankyou and she was surprised and flattered but unfortunatly she doesn't see me in that way,I know we'll never be anything more than friends which is better than nothing,So I told her I understand but I'll always be here if she needs anything and I can always hope.
But whats hurts the most is hearing the one thing that I've heard my whole life (your such a nice guy) I know that means a woman doesn't want to hurt your feelings but I'm tired of being the (nice guy) cause I know from exsperience that nice guys finish last,will always be seen as that and nothing more and never find the true happiness they yern for and have to settle for 2nd best.I'm tired of being left in the cold and standing on the sidelines but you learn to except faith even if it isn't what you want and you aren't happy.

To point it bluntly: man up. I can tell from your writing that you are a nice guy. And THATS GREAT - don't be fooled, women LOVE nice guys. But you gotta be a little manly, too. Try to add a dash of macho, just a dash, and see what happens.

Coming from a woman's experience it's not that the nice guy's finish last. See the nice guys are easy to talk to and are great friends. Then the guys fall in love, and the women are flattered but since you guys are so close of friends it would weird out the relationship. Because if you guys were to break up she wouldn't want your friendship to get blown away. So most girls pick bad guys because when they break up most women are heartbroken but they don't care if they are friends or not. Sorry if that seems confusing, but that's usually what happens. And in the end a woman will find the right guy and those are the ones that are the nice ones. So wait and let fate happen when it happens. Trust me in the end you'll be the happiest guy on the planet. Good Luck with how every thing works out.

It is not about you being the nice guy; it is really about the girls you are choosing. I feel that you are picking a bad lot the ones that rather be with the bad boys no matter how they look. I have a few old friends like that, and they have never changed. I married a nice guy we have been married for 26 years you need to change your style of girls. why don’t you try looking at the nice girls the ones that like to study, and that are looking forward to going to collage stop going for the girly girls that just always have boys on there minds that should work.

all u can do is hope for the best or movce on but don't stop being nice cause it may seem like bad guys finish first but they really don't alot of girls even me love good guys so don't stop being nice also that's good that u'll always be their for her but u really should let her go there is plenty more fish (girls) in the sea well i hope 4 the best 4 u

maybe you should just let it be. if she doesn't like you or is just not interested in you at the time, then there is nothing that you can do to make her like you, but keep hoping, which has seemed to not be working now, but give ot time. she may begin to like you but if not, there is nothing you can do. if you want to, continue to express your love for her, it can't hurt!
