His socialist health care plan will have the government reimburse any one that can afford to buy health insurance while leaving the poor with nothing.

What makes him think that it is a good idea to have the government pay the for health care of those that can afford it, but not a good idea to pay for it for those that can't?

Bush is a contradiction. He claims he is a Christian, yet in his rhetoric and policy statements does not advocate for the common person. Obviously he is representative of the powers 'behind the throne.' He has no real conception of life as experienced by the working poor. Yet this population is very vulnerable to be recruited into military service and deployed in the current war(s)

I don't think he hates the poor....they are just pesky little things he doesn't give a thought to. He really doesn't care about anyone really who can't help his own agenda. It's a shame really because the votes he didn't pay for who likely from the poor people who were just gullible enough to buy his lies. I still say what goes around comes around. At least we can hope.

NO. Dubya LOVES poor people! He's out right now MAKING more people poor by squandering and mismanaging taxpayers' monies and giving them to his cronies so that the already poor can be further burdened and he can make more middle class people poorer until they're just plain poor folks! He LOVES poor people... why do you think he's trying so hard to ruin the middle class and all working class of medium and lower income? Because he can't get enough of poor people in America; that's why he promotes those companies that oursource AMERICAN JOBS overseas! (Dubya is happy as long as his proctologist, Dr. Ben Dover, is gives him his DAILY rectal exams, what does he care? He says the lubricant helps him walk faster!)

no he does not hate the poor. he has been the only pres in years that has given money by tax return deduction to poor families. the health care system is tangled with lobbies and politicians besides the president that make actually fixing it almost impossible. WASHINGTON needs to wake up and realize that being an elected official is an honor not a career! then you would see real changes.

The poor already get free health care and pay no taxes. Do you think they have any incentive to get educated and make money?

Why do you think they are poor? I think it is a good idea to teach them how to get out of poverty and stop paying for their existence.

What poor are you talking about? The ones who cant work or the ones that wont? Those who cant work have access to too many govt programs for assistance already. Those who dont want to work, thats another can of worms, and even there are free clinics for them in most places. You can move to Canada if you need free healthcare.

He doesn't hate the poor. He just doesn't comprehend what he can't see. He's surrounded by the wealthy and doesn't know what a poor person has to go through to have the luxuries he takes for granted everyday.
