I don't understand what I would have to do to give an invitation. Plz help explain what needs to be done.

The first thing you need to do is decide if you can handle the reality of being legally responsible for this person while they are in this country and how it will affect your life to have them under your roof if this thing goes thru. When he gets here you are legally responsible for him no matter what he does or where he goes, and you will also have to prove that you can financially support him no matter how long he is here, that is if he dosent stay past his time and become illeagal, leaving you with more expensive legal headaches. The reason for the invitation letter, is that you are claiming ALL RESPONSIBLITY for this person once they put their foot in this country. Hope you think long and hard about this one.
