The House voted yesterday not to support Bush's surge, joined by 12 Republicans and thereby making it non-partisan.

Does Bush have any respect for Americans or does he think the people are just a bunch of idiots.?

Honey, the people *are* just a bunch of idiots. Don't forget - Americans vote more for American Idol than they do in political elections. No offense, but I don't *want* my gov't listening to people who are more concerned about Britney and K-Fed than national, let alone world, affairs.

What do you mean will he ignore us...that's exactly what he's been doing for over 6 years. He's a very typical stubborn Texas politician. Remember the last Texan President (LBJ) and how big a mess he made out of Vietnam. George Bush is doing the same thing in Iraq. *And no his Father was not a Texan. George Sr. hails from New England. I lived in Texas for many years, and there is a stubborn egotistical streak in their politics. The people are nice, but some of the politicians there get carried away with the "My Way or the Highway" tradition.

it incredibly is how that's finished. study your foe, study his strengths and weaknesses, previous behavioral varieties while in comparison with present day strikes, then you definately progression in as rapidly as achievable with overwhelming stress and violence and positioned...them....down. we've not executed this up so a techniques. only at present, with the bulletins to re-examine concepts-set are we slowly coming to comprehend that triumphing the hearts and minds won't paintings. This conflict would be won. regrettably, our foes are growing to be to be the impact we no longer have the stones for a actual dirt up. i wish we are moving in the path of proving them incorrect. This conflict prefer no longer take years and years, dedicate adequate troops and fabric to crush the enemy and it will end incredibly devoid of postpone. And particular, i'd be proud to bypass. Did my section in the overdue 60s yet for the way forward for my Grandkids, i'd return to lively provider in a brand ny 2d. and that i disagree with your assessment of the region. Staying the path is crucial. in any different case, the folk we've misplaced would have died for no longer something. And scuffling with a conflict on public opinion occurred while i became into in provider, it did no longer paintings then, won't paintings now. In a combat, you bypass with each little thing you have have been given and don't provide up till the different guy is down and defeated. i'm no longer partial to President Bush nor his political fighters, i'm partial to our scuffling with adult men & women and help them and their conflict. can not have it the two techniques.

I think President Bush will blindly continue to 'stay the course' and totally ignore the general public's outrage and the current resolutions pending in Congree

The house passed a non-binding agreement. That means it was a waste of time.

The President has a duty to defend this country, not listen to the whim of the people on every poll and change his policies.

He is not a Clinton that changes as the winds blow.

And today the senate voted not to debate Iraq, Democrats lose again. Looks like their attempts to score political points failed miserably.

Democrats were elected to bring the troops home NOW! and like most politicans have spent the time instead sitting on their butts. Lame duck Democrats. Impotent.

"The people" spoke through a non binding resolution. What they passed means crap and it shows that domocrats, as usual, have no answers. Traitors.
