I don't know if it's legal…
Just type the following into any search engine, and you'll get a long list: al stewart the year of the cat mp3
Yes LimeWire is free, but is not legal for most copyrighted material.

If you don't want to purchase it, then I would suggest going on the free tunes (not I-tunes) and type the name of the song. That is the only way I know. I liked that song a lot and used to have it on " tape" Not cassette, the really old one.
I hope you can find it. The whole tape was awesome.

Why not call or email your local radio, and ask them to play it? Why not pay for what you get? If you had something you made, by which you wanted to make a living, wouldn't you want to be paid a fair price for your product?
Learn to sing the song yourself, if you like it that much.
I am so very tired of reading of mooches and beggars wanting things for free. Nothing is free in this life. Get that? Deal with it.
