Never, but I have had several dreams where the bloody thing doesn't work!!! Or the foot brake, very frustrating.

I'll keep this short: I worked in a garage and had the car on a ramp lift to align it. When done I removed the wheel blocks and the car started rolling, had power locks and the door wouldn't open, so I chased it down the parking lot and dove through the open window and mashed the brake with my hands, stopping less than one meter from a busy road. I wish I could have seen that....

Nope but an old boss of mine did TWICE with customers cars (worked in a garage/car sales office at the time). One ended down a banking in a tree, the other was caught before any serious damage was done

Nope, but I forgot to take the ebrake off and drove a half hour before realizing it. Boy that thing really works huh? Isn't it supposed to prevent your car from driving or moving? It let me do 70 on the freeway!

Yes some years ago whe I was a bus driver. Jumped out started to walk along the pavement and noticed the bus was following me. I had to move smartish to get back into the bus and put on the brake. Never forgot again. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

My hubby did the other week when it was really windy, our car ended up in the wall at the end of the road, luckily just a small scratch on the front bumper, he won't do that again in a hurry I'll bet.

No. But my father did and knocked down the garden wall, while his four kids were in the back. Reactions divided on gender lines, with my sister bursting into tears and my brothers and I finding it hilarious and exciting. Valauble learning for kids to realise that their parents are not infallible and invincible and always right.

but my brother did when he was test driving a car (vauxhall viva):)
that i was thinking of buying from my girlfriends mom.it rolled down a hill and demolished a garden wall.to this day he still insists the handbrake was faulty.

No, but my other half did the equivalent with a 20 tonne lorry which sped directly into a high security gate at a well-known cash security depot. He left that job soon after....

Not me but I remember two years ago or so from watching the news on the BBC, someone did. Unfortunately their kid was strapped at the back, and the car went all the way down the hill and crashed, killing the wee one.

yeah i once forgot to put it on and i just stood there watching it, luckily my neighbour was right there and he gave chase, he caught up with it but couldnt get in to stop it luckily it wasnt on a steep hill and it stopped as it hit the kerb! it did freak me out a bit though
