My doctor prescribed seroquel to help me get to sleep at night. All of the research I've done on the drug indicates that it's used to treat depression and other disorders. I've been taking one pill a night for the last three nights and it's not helping me sleep. The doctor said to give it time. . .

It has a sedating side effect. Take it 30 minutes before you go to bed. Your doc may want to increase the dosage if you are not falling asleep. Call your doc and let him/her know.

man I used to take seroquel for my anxiety that **** used to knock me out and the next morning it would make me just not care about anything it was cool but I started abusing it so I made my fiance throw them away I say just give it time like ure doctor says and if it doesnt work over time he'll either prescribe u more or change ure medication so just hang in there
