Assuming that csa is child support assistance, I don't know the answer but want to extend my sympathies for you & your little daughter that Daddy would jack his job. I don't know all the details but I wish kids wouldn't have to suffer. I do hope you make enough money to support yourself & your daughter & that maybe instead of a painful struggle with Daddy, you can just let him be a deadbeat, ignore him & focus on making you guys' lives happy. Best wishes to you! {hug}
Sometimes the most peaceful resolution with someone who is only gonna wanna fight you tooth & nail is to excommunicate. Maybe someday if he grows up & has a change of heart, you can consider other things. (~like a relationship with daughter or possible you, again.)

Where do you live? In Canada, you don't necessarily need a lawyer. We have "duty counsel" to assist with applications for child custody, access and support and consequently, you would not need legal aid.
You didn't ask but in Canada, if your ex is clearly capable of working, a court may attribute income to him for the purposes of determining quantum of child support payable - a little incentive to get him back in the workforce as arrears accumulate. Judges have very little patience for "dead beat dads".
If you are in U.S., make some inquiries about whether you can initiate a court proceeding on your own.
Good luck.

Legal aid is means tested. You are probably outside the limit. A visit to a citizens advice center is your best option. They will advise you .

Means tested I'm afraid. Even if you qualified for it you would be expected to pay back some from any financial award you were given etc. Good luck

For the checklist, the criminal help equipment is a solicitor's delight, assured wonga and many it - a bottomless pit of the folk's money into which they dip their shovels. a buddy of mine recently mentioned, "understand what? there is extremely some legal experts interior the domicile of Commons". To which I replied without taking breath, "yeah! ultimate place for them. we are able to shop a watch on them in there and it stops them soliciting on the streets." hahahaha etc. Nother pint?

You cannot get legal aid no matter what. You need to be on benefits to qualify.
