What the future holds...?
I'm 19 and in that "Whats next?" stage. I've been out of highschool for a couple years and i've just been working. I've got lots of ideas of what i want to do but i'm also one of those people who LIKES a lot of things but isn't passionate about one specific thing. I would like to go to school again eventually but i want a good reason to go, not just because i feel i need to you know? I know lots of you have been in the situation and most of the time i'm ok with it because i know that God knows His plan for me, but sometimes its good to hear some encouragement from other people who have gone through the same thing. Just interested in hearing other people goals or things that they've done in their life. I like adventure and would way rather go out and DO something than sit in a class for 3 hours a day.

(p.s i put this in this section because more people answer questions in here than education.. lol)

Search your heart – you’ll know what you like best and follow it.

We all have our own race to run; no one is competing anyone but oneself.

Since you like adventure - maybe you should find a job in that field and see where it takes you.

God bless!

The thing about life is that you do not always need to make a decision about what you want to do automatically. To broaden your horizon of things you can do, you should definitely go back to school. And, who knows? You can even try college. You are only 19. You are in the age of learning and partying. Let me emphasize learning. You need to get out. Meet new people, go new places, and you will learn new things. You may not be passionate about something automatically, but if you like it and you work on it, you may be passionate about it eventually.

I'm only 13, and I don't know exactly what I want to do in life. But, I know I want to make money and be happy, which are probably your goals for life. Thats why I'm making sure I will get into a good college, and be around good friends that will inspire me. And, I'm leaving my eyes open. In high school, I already have a list of programs I want to join so eventually I would find what I want to do. But, I'm only 13 so I still have time to look around and choose the best path for my life.

I remember having that same attitude and drive when I was your age, and wow, do I wish I had taken things a little more serious at the time, even though you do not know fore sure what you want to do, tells me that you should go to school, at least take your basics so that you have the core for whatever you need in the future, (and believe me starting school at 38, like myself, I am having to retake courses that I aced in high school) talk about a waste of time, but I didn't know back then how important school was. Of course God knows what he wants for you, but because of FREE WILL, it is up to you to start down the path, nothing is worse than looking back and going duh 5 years have passed and I am doing nothing, the great thing about school it that it is one quarter or semester at a time, so if something comes up you will be free in a few months to go down that new path, but until you know more of what you want to do, then do the responsible thing. Good Luck and I hope this gives you some insight. You are working right now, so it is not like you can just walk away, you have bills, so do the school thing for now, plus at your age it will probably be for free, which is another reason to do it now.

Everybodys path in life are different. YOu said you like to do many things and have alot of different ideas. What makes you the most happiest? Have you thought of travelling? Write on piece of paper the things (goals) you want to achieve and start there.
Other people on here have their own goals to follow which may be totally different than yours.
