Hi, I am looking for my first PDA, I am 14, so I need it to be in the price range of up to £150. I am developing software and I would like to build some programs for a PDA. As I am making programs for it, I need it to have quite a large memory, or one that you can easily extend by Flash sticks or SD cards etc. Also, I would like it to be quite easy to develop for, maybe free SDKs for it? I would actually use some of the more PDA functions on it, like the address books, and I need to store my school's appointments like parents evenings and stuff. I would like it to interface well with my desktop Packard Bell, and be easy to synchronise. It should be able to play some games as well, any ideas?

I can only recommend palm devices(not too much experience in the other devices) The palm devices can come in various OS (operating system) OS 3, 4 and 5 have the possiblilties of using an sd card or if a sony a memorystick.

If you get the earlier models then you will be constrained for more advanced programing, however the costs may be too high.

In programing C++ is used.

I have a Tungsten E2. It is costs $200 dollars. It has An SD card slot, a built in speaker and headphone jack for playing music, and it comes with Documents To Go software, which lets you view and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents.
