Comedy in America is a strange thing. It's either very good or very bad, with little taking the middle ground...a sort of Mary Tyler Moore Show to Good Morning Vietnam. I personally think that Robin Williams unscripted performance in the latter was the pinnacle of American comic genius.

Very funny guy, I had my first cigarette after watching his last tour,what about Denise Leary's early stuff(rubbish sell out now)both very funny at the time
