I don't know where you are and which warnings you are looking at. There are different types. In Australia there are two main advisories issued, one for severe thunderstorms and the other for tropical cyclones.

A severe thunderstorm advisory is issued if conditions are right for the development of severe thunderstorms at some time during the forecast period. A warning is issued when storms are actually developing and being tracked on radar.

Tropical Cyclone watches and advisories are issued when a tropical cyclone is likely to hit the coast within 48 hours but not within 24. Within 24 hours warnings are issued.

Warnings tell you the threat is immanent; advisories tell you the threat is there but some way off. I would presume the same distinction is made elsewhere.

I think an advisory is just an FYI that something could be happening; a warning is a precautionary notice that one should be prepared for the worst.

Warning; It is a threat (filled with horror) ,cause great loss ,if ignore.
Advisory; It is an advice(without horror) to mend the way.
