I don't think it's right to have sex with an animal. It's like raping a child: the animal doesn't really know what's happening and doesn't know how to refuse.
I don't think that this issue can be compared to gay sex. Gay sex is between two humans, not two different species. Gay sex, like straight sex, can be rape if it was nonconsensual. There is no consent when having sex with an animal.
By the way, sex with animals is considered a form of animal abuse in many states, so I wouldn't recommend it for this reason either!

Hmmmm, interesting how you compare having sex with an animal to homosexuals having sex. The last time I checked homosexual sex was between two consenting adults. Both parties are aware of what they are getting involved in.
I don't think you can say the same thing about a human and a dog.
