I am looking for a laptop that will have a fingerprint reader, be a Tablet PC, play DVD's and have microsoft word, powerpoint and have the basics for school. now i relize this might not egzist but if you could tell me the one that would come the closest to it it would help. Thanks.

Definately an HP...they are on top of the technology powerhouse.

Buy Dell, HP/Compaq, or IBM for high budget. They are reliable. Finger print reader is an extra external device. Power point comes from Windows Offices XP independent from Windows XP. Find bargain at auctions w/o sales fee.

I suggest a Toshiba. I have one and it's amazing- I got in a few months ago and I've had no problems. Nor has anyone else that I've talked to who owned one.
