its probably your graphics card and your amount of ram...

call of duty 2 most likely needs a good graphics card to run...ive played it before and i am pretty sure u will need to upgrade or update your drivers for your graphics card..

if you go to start, and then run, type on "dxdiag" without the " ". this will give you all the information about the amount of ram and your graphics card. you will probably need a 256mb graphic card at least...i am also guessing that you will need at least 512mb ram..

and the celeron d...doesn't really matter as long as the processor speed is fast enough...if it is 2.5 GHZ or higher...you should be fine

specs on my computer (runs every game fine) : 1.5 GB Ram, graphics card: Radeon X1600 512 MB 3.00 Pentium 4 Processor with HT

my suggestion is to get a better graphic card...i bought a RADEON and i am content with it...if i could go back i would have bought a GEFORCE...they are very nice...

good luck...email me if you have any more questions

Make sure your system meets the following requirements:
1.4 GHz Processor, Intel Pentium IV or AMD equivalent, 256 MB RAM, DirectX 9.0 compatible 64 MB video card with latest drivers.

I'm not sure if a Celeron D qualifies as a P4 equivalent.

read the system requirements.
BTW...Celeron...aka...a BROKE Pentium.
Intel runs a series of performance tests on their CPUs. Any Pentium failures, they rename them as Celeron.
