by the weight and where its going..
if you are sending it via fedex express maximum weight is 150
(for anything that heavy there is fedex freight which offer
simlar services to fedex express
if you are sending it via fedex ground/home delivery then the
maximum weight is 70lbs

Out of curiosity, I checked out their website. From the home page, click on Delivery Options on the left side. From their you can navigate from page to page depending upon the speed of service you want, etc. It looks like 70 lbs is the maximum weight. It also gives maximum dimensions for your package. So, no, there isn't a flat rate. It will depend upon the weight of the package, the speed of service you want, and how far it will have to travel.
Hope I helped.

If it fits in their envelope it is a flat rate. If it fits in their box it is a higher flat rate. If it is humongous (like racing car engine on pallet) then you start paying for weight.
If their website is too hard to deal with just call them at the 800 number the site lists and ask an actual human being for the info.
