I have three reasons why I am convinced she's not dead.

1. The title of the show is Grey's Anatomy...they would have to cancel or change the name without her.

2. Why would she want to quit a show that probably earns her millions of dollars every year, and why would the producers get rid of the main character that is probably the reason they earn so much.

3. The title of the next episode is "Some Kind Of Miracle". Can it be any more obvious?

I think she was just dreaming when she asked Denny and Dylan if she was dead and then the doctors are going to revive her while she is dreaming and then she'll wake up.

she can not die. absolutly not=] i love her and mcdreamy together. and i think that something will happen with that Jane Doe lady and maybe when they showed some of the doctors like yang being all confused, maybe it was with her. i think something will happen with her baby. but if Grey dies, i dont know what i will do. I dont think i will be able to watch it anymore=[ but on another show One Tree Hill, a character had a "dream" similar to merediths and he woke up. so i believe that she will realize the dream and just wake up to be with Derick. and i think that it was so sad when he was sitting in the hallway crying because he wasn't allowed in the room. I cried a lot this episode. on a website i saw that there was like a Top 10 most worthless show characters and Dr. Burke was #5. so i am surprised that nothing happened to him.=] sorry so long!:)

As of the end of the last episode, yes. She is dead and hanging out with bomb squad guy and Denny. But who are they kidding? They can't kill her off! The name of the show is GREY'S Anatomy. She'll probably just be in a coma for a few weeks.

She died of hypothermia in the last episode.

She has to be dead so they can let her mother die.

Ellis has to die to set Meredith free to live her own life.

Expect meredith to come back to life after she sees that her mother is about to leave her for good.

What is likely to happen is this will make the relationship with Derek a big question going forward.

I don't think they are gonna kill her off. I think they're gonna do a bunch with her witht he dead guys (which I thought was a cool touch) and then they'll bring her back.

It's her show after all...She's the Grey in "Grey's Anatomy"

Good question!

I looked it up and saw that she is still on the show for future episodes...I think it's just for dramatic effect that she showed her with those 2 dead guys at the end.
She'll be back.

I don't watch it but since she is kinda the main character I highly doubt it. It will be like the soap operas - she will make an amazing comeback from the dead...

Almost, but I think she will cough and come out of it alive in the end.
