the needle on my fuel gauge has somehow managed to get under the peg, so it's stuck all the way below empty. Any suggestions?

Hi there!

This is a common problem to fuel and temperature guages. I must repair at least two a month. There really is nothing to repair; just a slight adjustment.

First you must remove the instrument cluster from the dash. Then you must dismantle the instrument cluster so you can touch the fuel guage needle. now you just rotate the needle counter clock wise until it is back at the stop pin. put it all back together and be done.

I do not know why fuel guages and temperature guages have this problem every so often. I feel that maybe some sort of spike or maybe a jump start but am not really sure.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

i could have the tool cluster regarded at. appears like some thing in the circuitry in there stop doing it quite is pastime. The low gasoline easy got here on so i don't think the sending unit is at Fault. the easy is tied into the point that think to tell the quantity of gasoline a glide to assert the least. in this point there it a gap while it gets down so some distance to kick the easy on. sturdy luck consisting of your findings

You could pull your dash out and try to clean it and put it where it goes, but it is probably the little motor behind the needle and you could replace that.
