Ask your league director for the tax number and apply to the state for a raffle licence. Seek donations of raffle gifts or offer cash prizes...the rules about how much you can sell and other legalities vary by state so get online and learn the rules for your state gaming commission. If you have a local Wal-Mart then ask them for permission to sell raffle tickets at the store, they will match funds raised for fundraising groups a lot of times up to a certain amount, go and ask the store manager for the person in charge of these type events and they will give you the details. Another good way that is quick and easy is to host a fundraising garage sale. get all the teammates to ask family and friends for unwanted and unneeded items and host a garage sale. If you can do that then ask parents to bake as well...selling drinks and bake sale items usually does very well if it is advertized as a fundraiser.
Another easy way if you live in a state where they have bottle return laws then ask your local grocer to place a cart near the bottle return and take donations of bottles and cans and have the kids go door to door asking for cans. It is a little time consuming but you would be surprized at how well these things work, a lot of people would give them to kids just so they dont have to go to the trouble of returning them themselves and it usually isnt a lot of "money" they are donating.
Good Luck!

Well to me, Someone has to step up and get a function going (BBQ, Sell candy, anything alone those lines) If I was you , I would think about stuff like that. Depending on your home town, just come up with an idea/event that everyone would enjoy, and be good for the team.
Good Luck

Go to your local grocery store and ask them to help you out. Where I live stores will help you with such fundraisers as a chicken bbq. You should run a 50-50 along with it and hold the drawing on the day of the bbq. People love chichen bbq and are usually happy to help organizations such as your sons little league. Give it a try.

WalMart and some grocery store chains are good about letting non-profit groups use the store front for change collections, bake sales, etc.

i does no longer say that's abuse, yet i'd say its infant abandonment and forget. additionally, if that babies dad is satisfied to act like that for the period of public, think of what he must be doing to the child at the back of closed doorways at domicile. he feels like a particularly offended guy. i'm no longer saying that offended parent in public = infant abuse at domicile, i'm only saying that that's in all probability greater probably. i'd easily be attempting to videotape the behaviour and take it to a infant risk-free practices business enterprise.

Making them feel like they are getting something out of it. You could sell stickers, or candy. Something cheap that you could sell for double the profit.
