It is stupid if she is. You can not beome an addict in several months, it's called a phase. A STUPID PHASE. She just had a baby a little while ago and she wasn't using when she was pregnant. If it is true, it will really hurt the custody dispute! Or is this just all gossip?

She says she is. Stars just do that to make us think they are going to change and doing something good but they end up checking out in a matter of days and no change whatsoever most of the time.

Are you an addict? How do you know that you can't become an addict within a few months? How do you know how long she may have been using or drinking? How do you know this is "just a phase", stupid or otherwise? How do you know she wasn't using when she was pregnant? Do you know her? Are you her friend? Are you her family? If not, then all you are doing, yourself, is gossiping.
Personally, from what I've seen, she, and Paris, and Lindsay, all appear to be drinking alcoholicly and engaging in addictive behavior of all types. Far from being critical or dismissive of them, I feel badly for them and hope they get the help they need. Why? Because it sucks to be addicted. It is NOT fun, it is not cute, and it is not funny. It is sad.

Her family did an intervention and sent her to rehab which she in turn left after about 24 hours. I think celebs are doing this to help their failing careers when the media is talking about all of the bad stuff they are doing. It is definitely a trend and it sends a bad signal to people who really do have problems and need rehab...

Going to rehab is good at any stage once you realize the potential of the problem. Yes it is going to hurt her custody, I said day one of their break up she was going to do herself more harm than good at any chances of custody in more ways than just drugs.
Also many people just use rehab to get the current build up of drugs out of their system so they can go back and do more before getting too over run with the drugs.

she and k fed were quite the party couple and they both needed rehab before makin babies. when thinking of britney as a mother i think the word "unfit" comes to mind. they take children from poor crack addicts but never rich ones.
