For example: the computer manufacturers. The number pad is on the right side; also the other user keys; the CPU also on the right.
My problem was that I had to get a cordless mouse because I yanked the cord too hard on my last one. The cord wasn't long enough for left-handers.
Even computer stations are for righties.

Hi Immortal. Lefties should not have to 'adapt'; our brains aren't wired that way. Many who were forced to be right-handed ended up with tics, speech impediments, etc.

agree with you. my boss couldn't understand why the keyboard was always placed differently when I worked than when he did -- until he broke his right arm and complained about the keyboard being so slow for his left hand. told him to place the keyboard like I had it -- amazing his slowness was solved -- ah sweet victory for a lefty.

Starting to play hurts for anyone, righty or lefty. The truth is, there is no reason at this point why you can't leanr to play righty even though you are a lefty. Neither of your hands has a clue what they are doing, and won't until you learn. A lefty has a temporary advantage over a righty when playing righty, because your left hand starts off stronger. Don't get hung up on right or left... just play the guitar as is. It's going to be hard slogging at first, but will get easier quickly. And you won't limit yourself to the small number of lefty guitars out there.

Im left handed when it comes to writing, cutting, typing, etc. Im left handed when it comes to cutting, slicing, typing and using a computer mouse. So this wouldn't really have bothered me in any ways but yes everything is made for the right handers, but that is because most people in the world right handed.
Have a nice day!

i'm a left-hander BUT i'm not frustrated. i'm just glad that i'm living in the right-hander majority where i learned to be adapt and more creative than a right-hander!
you shouldn't be frustrated. we should learn to adapt and compromise. be more adaptable and less rigid. it is known that a left-hander is more creative than a right-hander.
this question is a shame for me as a left-hander.
