Does anybody think that the level of Delivery Service has seriously declined over the past couple of years? Whether it's UPS/Fedex/Truck delivery, I swear I've had more damaged items lately. They seem fairly well packaged, but in peices when opened! Is there just too many things being delivered these days that nobody cares?

The other day I watched the Fedex guy deliver lighting fixtures to my office - it reminded me of friggin Ace Ventura - undercover as the delivery man kicking around a box!

Maybe it's not local delivery at all - Most of the items shipped these days are being made overseas and I swear somebody is out to get us!

Anybody else feel this way?

Oh my gawd Kathleen you are reading my mind!!!!

UPS is my current most hated shipper and they totally destroyed 3 shipments in the past couple weeks. Every single time they re-tape the box and attempt to deliver it without even mentioning to the customer that it has been damaged.

Then the pieces of crap try to deny the claim based on "inappropriate packaging". We use triple walled cardboard and seal with both mess reinforced packing tape and cellophane tape.

Funny, it usually only happens on our high value shipments and there is no place (other than the customer service) to file a real complaint.

My company has lost 3 customers in the past couple months because UPS cannot deliver a damn package. As American manufacturing is disappearing faster than an ice cube in July, it is not like we can just go out and replace the customers.

UPS treats us (their customer) like we don't matter because the options are so few to get away from them. I HATE them.

Wish we could treat our customers that way!

I actually work for a trucking company we service CA- FL, NJ, NY we are smaller so we specialize in these area's with our own warehouses. I get customer tell me about other bigger companys that do damage goods because they don't treat each customer with 100% service it is more just get the business. I deal with many different products. You have to make sure if your products can not be stacked it is marked and One thing you should insure it so you will get full value and not ripped off with the 50 per lbs per item that most companys give.

Also sometimes it is the way the product is packed.

I feel you on this cause I hear about it every day!

Hello,
Delivery services are always providing us great support. These services should be regulated in a regular manner.
