I still will try to find a way to come out on top of the situation. I may not win, but I' am going to walk away with something.

If it's worth trying to turn around, try to fix it, getting help, if needed; if it's not worth it, or seems futile to try, get out of it. If you can't get out of it immediately, take steps to get yourself out of it, ie., begin looking for a new job, look for someplace else to live, etc. Life is too short to be in a bad situation.

Something or someone is benefiting, otherwise it wouldn't be able to sustain itself. Try a lateral move of some sort.
