I want to buy a preamp to boost my mic signal. I'll then plug this into my mac and record with garageband. I want to know if I should pay the extra and get a preamp with usb connectivity, or not bother and just use the line in on my mac. My main concern is sound quality (but not so much that I want to buy protools or any other software. Yet) The preamp I am looking at is the ART Tube MP project series, or the same with USB. Any help much appreciated.

Inder, My entire internet site, living house Brew Audio, is all approximately that. For the main area its approximately some easy understanding and a few advice and concepts. a number of it incredibly is on the subject of the kit, yet no longer almost as much as human beings might have you ever suspect! Take a pay attention to the countless recordings we've accomplished on our internet site or on YouTube (our Channel is homebrewaudio) and pay attention for your self what might properly be accomplished with an much less costly living house studio utilising in easy terms a common pc. desire that enables!
