You can file battery charges against this person. If you are not part of a union then you should contact one and ask about getting union representation in your work place. It is a lot easier to go through a union for such matters. but too many republicans have made it easier for companies to stop unions from forming in their companies. It is a right you have and you can exercise it. Here is a link.

If anyone hits anyone,they are breaking the law. Go to the supervisors boss and file a complaint.If they do not want to do anything,let them know that you will call the police.

The same as if it happened in a bar fight. You aren't allowed to hit people. You have the same rights as any other criminal.
