In short: yes.

We can see some of the effects of the solar wind right here on Earth. The aurora borealis (the "Northern Lights") and the aurora australis are a result of the interaction between the solar wind and the Earth's magnetosphere.

yes, solar wind definitely reaches the earth. Here's a nice picture of it.

Visual proof can be seen, when the solar wind interacts with the earth's magnetosphere (sp?) it causes the aurora borealis. Hope this helps :o)
