The employee can do it and tell them that it's harassment and if they were to keep calling, that would affect your ability to pay at all because you would be fired.
You can actually press charges for harassment.

Yes they can. But the employee can be the one to tell the collector.
All you have to say is, "I am not allowed to take personal calls at work and my boss has informed me that if they continue they will sue you (the collector) for wasting corporate assets (your time and the phone)"
That stops them and if it doesn't, keep a log and report the collector to your state's attorney general because the collector is breaking the law.

At work? Yeah, I think so. Another course would be to keep up with payments...or consolidate all the debt on a lower interest loan.

They can only tell them to quit calling the work number as it is not a personal phone for personal use.

if you have people calling you about money and you tell them to stop, they have to. it is a law. so if your employee tells them to stop calling( at work or home) they have to stop calling.
