Just try a hard reset and start again. Not worth the hassle of trying to find your wep key.

There should be a reset button at the back. You may need a pin or something to get at it.

It will have dropped your wireless network connection, because it's become encrypted.

You'll need to make it reconnect. When it asks for the password, enter the unencrypted version.

Also, WEP is awful. You'd be better setting up WPA (If you've got it), Mac Address filtering and turn off SSID broadcast.

Unplug the router, find the reset button and hold it in for a few secs, start over. The reset will set the router back to factory settings.

Hah.

yeah, this part's kind of a pain. You have to log into your router via your WIRED connection, and edit it through there. after you enable your WEP settings, disconnect your WIRED connection and then connect via your WIRELESS connection, where you will be asked for your WEP key.
