they poke it in the **** with a long stick

they teach it a learned behavior. they practice what is going to happen in the commercial, then do something to aggravate the cougar. lets say they poke him with a stick. after a few times doing this, he knows that after something happens in the commercial, the stick is going to poke him, so he snarls.

The same way they get big green ogres to talk, get bad guys to always die and good guys not to, or make the impossible jump or the spectacular crash, it's called editing
