Scholes was played out on the left because Sven thought Lampard was the future. The National Team, which under Keegan was built around him, turn their back on him for Fat Frank. He was the one treated unfairly.
Carrick has not been selected widely from England; it would be tough to prove that one. Rio and Gazza are rocks for England. VDS has hit the century mark for caps. Heinze always gives his all for Argentina. Ronaldo is only 22 and he has already been picked as Portugal's captain.
If Saha wasn't injured so often, he would probably be more widely capped. Rooney gives his all for his country, so does Ole. Fletcher in fact probably plays better for Scotland then he does for Man Utd.
The only one that you can possibly claim as giving more for club then country is Giggs. Even though he has numerous caps, he was constantly 'injuried' whenever he was called up for friendlies.
Brown, O'Shea, Park, Larsson; they give their all for club and country.
This is just another example of a cheapshot at Man Utd players.

The difference is this: when they play for Man Ure, they are surrounded by quality players and are managed by one of the best managers in the game. When playing for England, they have to deal with half-witted team-mates and managers who don't even reach the level of half-wits.
And in case you're wondering, I despise Man Ure but credit where it's due.

No! They work as hard as they could for their countries.
Like other dude said, Ronaldo does his best for Portugal, and Park does his best for South Korea.(And all the other players)
My point is they are hardworking people for both Man.Utd and their Nation
