Can anyone please answer me why everton fans are so bitter and twisted, i have an idea it might be because this "SMALL" club live in the shadow of the most successful football team in the history of british football!

because they have to watch championship and manc reject players every week i would be bitter and twisted if i had to cheer for phil neville

I think the reason we are so bitter and twisted is because we missed out on our best ever chance of being successful in the European Cup due to another club's so called fans. Since then we have become a more insular club, more together as a set of fans. Other people may see us as bitter but and twisted but it's just an extension of the scouse attitude.
p.s. there is no apostrophe in the word responses, though being Norwegian you may be ignorant of that fact.

for more than 50 years everton were the most successful side on merseyside if not England people forget that and its insulting to be regarded as a small club they are one of our more proud clubs steeped in tradition.

the worst thing Everton ever did was rent anfield out to liverpool city football club and move to goodison
we should have stayed there and lfc would have faded away

they call themselves the peoples club but cannot sell out a game against chelsea, have half season tickets and had a ladies day for blackburn game
