Hi -

You want to save all of your stuff.

Then follow these steps -

1. Get your Windows CD ready.
2. Make sure you have a registration code.
3. Make sure you have a CD that has Drivers and Utilities on it. Otherwise, you won't be able to connect to the internet, or have sound.

4. Put in your Windows disc. Reboot your computer. You should have the option to boot from cd. Do it.

5. You will see a partition. You should delete that partition. After it is deleted, select the free space to re-install windows on.

6. The process can take up to an hour.

If you are not computer savvy you can google a search for reformatting computer - then put your operating system after that.

Good luck!

Just set it so that it'll boot from your cd instead of drive C (you can change this setting at Win startup, there'll be print on the bottom, press F# to..., just follow the instruction), insert the windows cd and proceed. This is recommended if windows itself is corrupted i.e. you can't execute the setup file from cd while running Windows

The answer from Ryan M is pretty dead on.

If you don't have the driver & utilities cd, then you can visit your computer's manufacturer's website under their support section, and they have the drivers and services for your computer
