Its not a big fancy restaurant...but Point Loma Seafoods in the Point Loma area of San Diego will serve/sell you some of the freshest fish, shellfish, smoked fish...the best fresh seafood sandwiches ,louies, and seafood cocktails that you might find, esp. at very reasonable prices...it sits right on the bay where the fishing charters take off...and its always pretty packed so be patient and good luck...

You have to try The Original Fish Company in Los Alamitos. It seriously has the best chowder and freshest seafood that I've ever had...and I'm serious when it comes to seafood. Each dish tastes homemade, not mass produced like a lot of other restaurants.
Check out the website and GO!!!

I travel to this area often, Point Loma has the best laid lo eateries around. Can sit outside on the Marina, seals, watch the sites and eat good. I usually get a squid sandwich on sour dough roll, great.
