Hi -

I am not sure what you mean by it keeps going online and offline.

Try this

Go to your Start menu
Go to Run
Type in CMD
When that box comes up, type in ipconfig/release
You will see a list of things, with a bunch of zeros next to them
Now, type in ipconfig/renew
This will reset it.

I don't know if this would help, but if it doesn't you might want do something with your firewall, and only allow access to the internet when you want to.

I'd call your ISP to see what the problem is, firewalls don't intermittently block access to and from the internet. Could be a problem that your provider knows about.

If you have a router, yes. If you have a firewall, possibly. If you have a faulty connection somewhere between your modem and your computer, yes. I'd double check all the wiring, then try repairing the connection in network connections. Then restart, and if that doesn't work, restart your modem.

Check with your service providers. There might be some problem at the back end.
