Or you could have a great day out in the field and visiting with some client at a plush hotel.
Focus on what you want to happen not what you don't want to happen.
Expect the worst and get the worst.

You know you're having a bad day when you're getting ready to go to work and you hear on the local radio news bulletin that your company has gone into liquidation and you didn't even know there were any problems in the first place.
That happened to me three weeks ago........

There was a man who was fired countless times where I work...however the person who hired him was not there to properly fire him so he kept clocking in and worked for an additional 7 months.

You know you are going to be let go. Maybe you did some thing wrong or they are cutting back because they have no work.
It might be a good thing because you may find a better job. That is what happened to me. I got a better job.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT - It sounded like good news to me. When they told me I was fired, I tried to not keep from breaking into a happy dance.
