My diaries - I've been writing a daily journal since 1st January 1981 - I was 14.

Orry and Unk. Orry (short for Orinoko) is a panda and Unk (short for Great Uncle Bulgaria) is a womble - why I called a panda after a womble - and it was the womble, not the river - is beyond me but I did. Orry's about 33 years old and Unk's about 36. They live on the top of my bookcase with Bert - the rose-scented white bear and Petey; the pea-green bear.

The Myths of Ancient Greece/Rome - a book I got for my 6th Christmas which I loved from the start - my favourite was always Pandora's Box.

My cat - Jet

After my mum died 18 months ago, my most treasured possession is all the family photo's, from all my sisters being born. And also a purple bracelet, she gave me for my birthday 2 days before she died.

I have hundreds of treasures, little shells my kids gave me when they were still very young, cards they made for my birthday, a special flat round grey stone my daughter picked up whilst travelling in Namibia, hundreds of things, i find it difficult getting rid of anything and will never ever throw anything away that is given to me as a gift. I treasure everything:)))

I almost said "my children" - but of course they're not my possessions! A mahogany hall table my son made in school (beautiful) some jewellery my mum left me, my photo's spanning a lot of years and occasions, and my sassy little convertible!

Aside from family and pets, it's the photos of my parents who passed away. And my mother's wedding ring. If I ever lost this ring, I'd be inconsolable.
