Talk to your doctor about your concerns, she'll be much more helpful than anyone here. Clearly, your doctor doesn't think it's incurable, or whe wouldn't keep giving you drugs.
Untreated UTIs can get really gross. I spent 10 days in the hospital with a woman who used home treatments for her UTI. They didn't work. Her bladder was raw and oozing blood on the inside, which formed clots, which blocked the urethra so she couldn't pee. They gave her many, many treatments, and she was still there when I left.
So TALK to your doctor, and follow her treatment directions

Drink lots of cranberry juice. Check the nutrition label to make sure it is 100% (Ocean Spray is not). If it is too bitter, you can mix it half and half with apple juice. Cranberry juice can cure UTI without antibiotics. But follow your doctor's orders.
Doctors know what they are doing. She wouldn't prescribe it if it were unsafe.
Also, don't take baths, which causes UTI's because of the bacteria in the water.

Try this and hopefully it works, has for me in the past.
Drink 3 large glasses of water, every time you go to the bathroom for the next 2 hours drink another glass.
You will be living in the bathroom for most of the next 3 hours but this should flush your system. For the next couple of days drink cranberry juice (the pure stuff) and water instead of tea/coffee etc.
I hope this helps. I do this every time I feel like somethings going on & it has worked.

if your asympotomatic it means that your not showing signs or exhibiting symptoms of the disease in yocase a UTI which can be bad during preg. if it is not bleared up but if your asymptomatic maybe it can be managed by something else like a stay in the hospital with IV antibotics and lots of fluids.

Your doctor knew what she was doing when she gave you the pills. Trust her, an untreated UTI is worse than the antibiotics she is giving you.
