My week has been pretty horrible. Thank goodness it's almost over. I'm sitting in a hospital right now, utilizing the free internet while my mom sleeps off the morphine. I learned on Monday that she has breast cancer and she had a masectomy yesterday. She's recovering now, in quite a bit of pain and I'm 4 hours away from my home. And right now all I can do is wait, wait, wait until her doctors say she's ready to go home...and I won't get home until late this evening and then it's right back to work early in the morning. =(

My week was wonderful! We got over a foot of snow, and had a snowday for two days in a row! The first day I stayed home and played dress up, the second day I went to lunch with friends, then to a cafe with my crush, where we talked for 3 and a half hours! My sister has been picking on me, calling it my first date, but I don't think he thinks of me that way. Tonight, I am going to his Chinese New Year party. Yesterday my best friend came from 1 hour and 30 minutes away to stay untill Monday. Opening night of the play (Julius Caesar) was yesterday, and after, people were giving lots of hugs. Two guys actually picked me up while hugging, and it was so nice! And it was the last week before winter break.

It has been an interesting week...I have a lot of classes to attend, and I am helping to develop a panel of former alumni who pursued careers in entrepreneurship. It will give a chance for fellow students to hear about a non-traditional career option as well as learn of potentials risks/benefits from this path...so i have had a lot of meetings to arrange potential speakers, refreshments for the audience and getting sponsorship from on-campus groups...whew!
and last night, some friends and i went to a showcase of performing arts student groups which was fantastico! all in all, i'm exhausted but pleased with the way that life is going at the moment.

Terrible. I slipped on ice twice, I have a cold (which is why I'm spending so much time online), and I can't find the television remote! Call it whining, but my week sucks.

It's been great, we've had snow(and I love winter/snow) and then school been closed since Wednesday and then we have no school on Monday so i have a 5 day weekend
