it depends on your HS, if there are a bunch of ******* there that like to give the freshmen crap, carry a big stick, otherwise, just about the same as jr hi, except changing classrooms, maybe you dad different classrooms before, just use common sense, get articles for next class, when its time for class to start, be there, try to get involved in whatever activities that are offered, cheer, sports, government, volunteer, these next 4 years are pretty important, keep grades up, be aware of what you can accomplish, but, don`t miss out on any of the other important activities, dances, interacting with the other sex, do`nt look for a life partner, look for people who want to get the experience that is necessary when you start interacting with the opposite sex with finding a committed relationship, high school was never a place to launch a romantic relationship, it is a place to learn all you can from the staff, and sharpen your emotional skills and just have fun, take all class work seriously, but don`t get into a serious relationship, you have years and years to fall into that trap, let high school be the years you had fun playin the boys, not broken hearted from bein played.

find out what the top level of your school is becuase jerks will tell you your class is on a level that isn't there. Don't buy any elevator passes. Ask a teacher where your class is not a student no matter what. Do your homework. Go to as many school functions as possible. Stand up for what you believe in and be yourself. Respect the teachers even if they are old. Don't be late for class.

be yourself and don't fall in those traps. You'll know what I mean when you start high school. Ignore any stupid people who might try to put you down. Remember High School is not the real world therefore yes it is a social event they'll teach you many things. Just make some good friends, don't cause any trouble with older kids.

If the seniors try to sell you tickets, dont buy them! There is not an underground swimming pool. (I know, I used to sell the tickets)
