I'm curious to know why people would give a St. Patrick's day gift. Traditionally, that holiday is the least gift-giving holiday I can think of. It's mainly a day of celebration, and wearing green. So if you give her anything, I think it should be green. Like the emerald bracelet pictured below. You can't go wrong with bracelets!

Why do you buy gifts for St. Patrick's Day??? Geez, hasn't society commercialized enough holidays? It seems like ever frickin' month there is some holiday that I need to go broke for.... I currently do not acknowledge St. Patrick's Day and don't plan to. It certainly wouldn't even cross my mind to buy a gift for a person on this day...whether they were Irish or not. I always thought it was a day to go out and get drunk. Give the gift thing a rest. Why not start a Christmas Club or save your money for mother's day, father's day, birthdays, etc.

drink - it's a drinking day to celebrate the life of St. Patrick and you have to wear something green and wear shamrock and go to mass in the morning.
