how do i unlock tunes downloaded onto my lg u880?

very frustrating that you pay for a tune and cant use it for your ring tone , im on the 3 network

u should be able to use it as ur ringtone. however u cant unlock them because people send them to otherfones on bluetooth, so they locked it.

You cant. They are locked because they are copyrighted. I dont bother with 3's music store I'm on 3 myself and I have an Nokia N73. What I do is download the tracks I want from Limewire and sync them to my phone using Nokia pcsuite.
